2nd Shift; Repack​/Melt Machine Operator

Position Summary

Responsible for setup and adjustment of tooling, equipment, and production lines. Performs minor repairs and maintenance duties. Understands specifications and work orders.

• Performs setups on machines, equipment, or production lines.
• Handles minor repairs and maintenance of equipment with a minimum of supervision.
• Understands specifications and work orders to assure that proper setup is achieved.
• Approves inspection reports as required.
• Performs basic fabrication as required.
• Monitors department equipment for safety and informs supervision of unsafe conditions.
• Completes paperwork such as time, inspection, downtime, scrap, productivity, and production reports.
• Fills in for supervision as needed.
• Trains employees new to the position or area as required.
• Keeps work areas clean, orderly, and free of obstruction.
• Ensures quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Manufacturing experience of one year or more (preferred).

• Hourly pay range: $23.80 – $27.95.
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
