responsible for setup and adjustment of tooling, equipment, and production lines. Performs minor repairs and maintenance duties. Understands specifications and work orders.

core duties and responsibilities:

• performs setups on machines, equipment, or production lines.
• handles minor repairs and maintenance of equipment with a minimum of supervision.
• understands specifications and work orders to assure that proper setup is achieved.
• approves inspection reports as required.
• basic fabrication as required.
• responsible for monitoring department equipment for safety. Informs supervision of unsafe conditions.
• completes paperwork as required, including time, inspection, downtime, scrap, productivity, and production reports.
• fills in for supervision as needed.
• trains employees new to the position or area as required.
• keeps work areas clean, orderly, and free of obstruction.
• is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

qualifications:

• required: high school diploma/ged.
• preferred: high school education with one year of manufacturing experience

• hourly pay range for this role is $23.80-$27.95
• participation in annual incentive program
