Position Summary

This position will perform engineering tasks within the product and/or manufacturing engineering groups as assigned by engineering personnel. An intern is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience while school is not in session such as summer break. A Coop is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience instead of taking classes.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering related tasks as assigned by engineering personnel.

Evaluate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

Design products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

Improve products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

Cost reduce products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

Validate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

Create/update engineering drawings.

Model with 3D CAD products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

Perform engineering change orders (ECOs)

Prototype products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

Prepare reports.

Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
