Sourcing Specialist
Location:
On‑site at one of the division's U.S. facilities (with flexibility dependent on the business unit).
The Sourcing Specialist plays a central role in ensuring the division has the materials, components, and supplier relationships needed to support both new product development and ongoing production. - Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, capability, cost, and delivery criteria.
- Strengthen supplier performance through regular reviews, corrective actions, and partnership development.
- Support initiatives related to reliability, lead time reduction, and supply continuity.
- Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and product management on new programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions by ensuring suppliers meet technical and timing requirements.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to solve material issues and reduce disruptions.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP and sourcing systems.
- Track supplier KPIs, cost improvement initiatives, and risk assessments.
- Provide visibility into sourcing plans, opportunities, and challenges.
- 2-5+ years in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with technical products, engineered components, or filtration technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with structured operating systems, continuous improvement, or Lean concepts is beneficial.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capability.
- Ability to analyze data, costs, and supplier performance metrics.
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow‑through.
