Client Services Assistant

Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Position Type: Full Time

Description: Barney Financial Services is a busy financial planning office with clients across the country. We are committed to helping our clients use their God-given resources in the very best way possible. Our team has a combined total of over 70 years in the financial services industry. We take pride in our comprehensive & personalized approach to financial planning. As our client services assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to help implement our financial planning process for clients.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Prepare, process, and track client paperwork
  • Maintain accurate client records and data entry in CRM systems
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Handle general administrative duties (filing, scanning, mailing, etc.)
  • Assist with account setup and client service requests
  • Support compliance and documentation standards
  • Help with client communications
Position Start Date and Details:

Flexible start date; 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-5pm.

Requirements and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; prefer office administrative assistant experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and have a willingness & desire to learn.

Wage and Benefits:

$23-$25/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications. Employees are eligible for performance-based raises, as well as wage increases tied to tenure and the successful completion of relevant industry certifications. The benefits include 7 paid holidays, 1 week paid sick leave, 1 week personal leave, and 1 week paid vacation in the first year of employment with additional vacation time granted based on tenure.

Employees also have the option to participate in employer-sponsored retirement plan with matching contributions, and potential for generous bonus pay.
