Corporate Accountant

Summary

Buckle (NYSE: BKE) is a publicly traded specialty fashion retailer. We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team to help maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial reports to various business units.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Perform ad hoc analyses as requested and work on special projects as needed.
• Research new accounting pronouncements and the related impacts on Buckle.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial information.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with all banking relationships. Act as liaison between banking institutions and store leadership.
• Support internal and external audits as a key contact for the auditors.

• Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Retail or eCommerce experience preferred.
