Position Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department serving patients of all ages and acuity levels. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Unit Details:
- Emergency Department with 15 treatment beds plus a 6-bed fast-track area
- Cares for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Accurately document care using the electronic medical record system
Schedule:
- Variable shifts including days, evenings, and nights
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
- TNCC (required)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
EMR System:
- EPIC
