Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Hawaii, requiring an active HI RN license and advanced fetal monitoring skills.
Responsibilities

• Work in a rural community hospital's Labor & Delivery department

• Cares for Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Nursery, Obstetrics, and Post Partum patients

• Handles approximately deliveries per month

• Required to work 12-hour night shifts only

• May float to assist other nursing departments but not as a primary nurse

• Couplet care experience is necessary

• Responsibilities include caring for laboring and postpartum mothers as well as newborns

• Charge nurse duties may be assigned with additional compensation

• Must be available to the hospital at all times and for all shifts, with a focus on nights

• Travelers may be floated to other nursing departments as needed

• This position is in a rural healthcare environment in Hawaii
Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required at time of application

• Minimum 4 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP are mandatory

• Experience with intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring is required

• Certifications such as CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, and C-EFM preferred
