The Assistant Fitness Manager focuses on conducting welcome workouts with new members, guiding them through initial fitness experiences, and helping them start personal training programs. Reporting to the Fitness Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving personal training sales and fostering member relationships.

• Ensure daily targets are met, especially when the Fitness Manager is absent.
• Drive sales by promoting personal training packages and building rapport with members.
• Achieve sales targets for personal training and small group training sessions.
• Collaborate with membership sales team to support new member onboarding and smooth transition.
• Conduct personalized welcome workouts to evaluate fitness needs and goals.
• Guide new members through the club experience, promoting retention and engagement.
• Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through coaching sessions.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff.
• Supervise maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance of the facility.

• 2‑3 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year of sales experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong interest in the fitness industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills across all levels.
• Attention to detail, systematic problem‑solving, and good time‑management.
• Excellent MS Office skills.

• Available to work nights and weekends.
• Pass background check.
• Valid Personal Training certification.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a gym setting, move around gym floors, and communicate publicly.
• Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs.
• Proficiency with the company computer system, including data entry and report reading.
