General Purpose

The Custom Fit - Workforce Education Facilitator supports the Custom Fit Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality Custom Fit and Workforce Education training on behalf of the College.

This position is 15-20 hours per week.

Job Focus

* Develops new classes and assists instructors by working directly with industry partners to understand training needs, create new offerings, update existing courses, and ensure that all catalog content remains current and reflective of industry expectations.

* Facilitates training by securing curriculum, materials, instructors, supplies, and facilities for Custom Fit and Workforce Education classes. Ensures all training meets the company's needs and aligns with program and College standards in collaboration with the Custom Fit Manager.

* Serves as the primary contact for companies as they submit Custom Fit training requests. Assists in assessing needs, recommending solutions, coordinating vendors and instructors, scheduling courses, finalizing agreements, and processing reimbursements while maintaining consistent, professional communication.

* Builds and maintains strong industry relationships with for-profit companies in Davis and Morgan counties to identify workforce skill gaps, support employer training initiatives, and ensure a steady pipeline of Custom Fit and Workforce Education participants.

* Manages the catalog of Workforce Education classes, including design refreshes, content updates, and coordination of schedules, descriptions, and availability.

* Creates and distributes a quarterly newsletter promoting Workforce Education and Custom Fit classes, employer training opportunities, and Davis Tech programs.

* Oversees social media presence for Custom Fit and Workforce Education, creating engaging content that highlights training success stories, new classes, community partnerships, and program updates.

* Represents the College, Custom Fit, and Workforce Education at internal and external events, employer visits, community presentations, and industry functions, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and multi-day in-state travel.

* Provides exceptional customer service and administrative support for Custom Fit and Workforce Education, ensuring companies, instructors, students, and partners receive timely and accurate assistance.

* Creates training packets for Custom Fit - Workforce Education classes, including rosters, evaluations, certificates, QR codes, testing materials, and other required documentation.

* Performs financial and data entry functions, including creating invoices, collecting and processing payments, reconciling accounts, balancing Workforce Education and Custom Fit financials, entering data into administrative systems, submitting check requests, and maintaining alignment between the Custom Fit and Workforce Education database and accounting systems. Serves as data-entry backup to the Custom Fit Manager.

* Maintains strict compliance with all Custom Fit policies and procedures and seeks guidance from the Custom Fit Manager when needed to ensure accuracy and consistent program delivery.

* Collaborates effectively with colleagues across Davis Technical College, fostering a cooperative and service-oriented work environment.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience in corporate training, workforce education, continuing education, project management, professional development, or a closely related field; or

* Associate degree and three (3) years of experience in corporate training, workforce education, continuing education, project management, professional development, or a closely related field.

* Demonstrated experience providing functional or direct supervision, including coordinating, supporting, evaluating, or mentoring adjunct faculty, instructors, contractors, or staff.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively across diverse audiences and stakeholders.

* Ability to model effective instructional and facilitation practices in professional or training environments.

* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

* Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills with a high level of attention to detail.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule; early morning, evening, and occasional in-state travel may be required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, education, or related field

* Experience in marketing, outreach, or promoting educational or workforce training programs.
