COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT INTERN
The City of Kaukauna's Recreation and Community Enrichment department is looking for a seasonal Intern to work in Community Enrichment.
Major Position Duties- Arrange weekly vendors and musical entertainment.
- Create marketing campaigns for social media sites for Community Enrichment events.
- Support the coordination and promotion of the City’s Farmer’s Market and the LIVE! from Hydro Park concert series.
- Seek out and evaluate community support for events in Hydro Park and other public spaces within the City. Events may include yoga, charity runs/walks, concerts, food rallies and culture shows, welcome events, pop-up shows, and/or children’s events.
- Research and recommend potential partnerships with local community groups to offer new programs/events.
- Perform various administrative tasks to coordinate with the Farmer’s Market and LIVE! from Hydro Park concert series.
- Assist with Front Desk operations including customer service by phone, email and in-person.
- Assist Programming Managers with programming design and promotion.
- Assist with special events at various City properties and within the municipality.
- Work independently and with a team
- Able to work 20 hours per week
- Pursuing Associates or Bachelors degree in related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to Wednesdays for Farmer’s Market 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm June through October and Wednesdays at LIVE from Hydro Park concert series, 2:00p-9:00p in June, July, and part of August.
