Position Overview
We are seeking 1st and 2nd Shift CNC Machinist – Machining Centers (of all skill levels) to join our team. We offer a $3.00/hour shift differential for 2nd Shift.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Machining Centers. We have a wide variety of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components that include Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, 5-axis vertical machines, and multi‑axis, live‑tooling VTL’s. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, program, tool setting, and operate a wide variety of CNC machining equipment to perform precision machining operations.
- Program machining centers using Mazatrol and/or G Code.
- Make needed adjustments to programs and offsets to ensure finished parts meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude – mechanically inclined.
- Good work ethics.
- Mazatrol experience is a plus!
