Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

Join Bernatello's Foods as a night shift Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician. This full‑time role is scheduled 2‑2‑3 nights only, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am.

• $1000 sign‑on bonus

• Operate independently on complex maintenance projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates.
• Plan, develop and manage projects from inception to completion using maintenance software.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; install, repair, and troubleshoot transformers, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and other components.
• Maintain accurate records of daily equipment usage, parts, flow meters and work orders.
• Ensure Process Safety Management compliance and collaborate with vendors on facility and equipment repairs.
• Support wastewater treatment duties and recommend cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Implement lockout/tagout procedures and 6S principles to improve safety and efficiency.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on piping, equipment, hoses, nozzles, and pressure systems.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts and welding/fabrication equipment as needed.
• Utilize CMMS systems to create, track, and audit work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to GMP, SQF and USDA regulations and compile end‑of‑shift downtime reports.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb., stoop, bend, kneel, and climb.
• Strong problem‑solving, mechanical and electrical skills.
• Basic math, writing, and computer skills.
• Proficient with hand tools, personal protective equipment, and basic CMMS use.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Team‑player willing to learn and apply advanced technical skills.
