CompensationSt. Paul Elder Services, Inc. provides the following base pay range: $15.75/hr - $19.75/hr this range is provided by St. Paul Elder Services, Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Personal Care Assistant | AMs, PMs, NOCs (overnight) | Part-Time
This job has pay differentials for PMs and NOCs. PMs receive $2.00/hr and NOCs $1.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Assists tenants with ADL tasks including housekeeping, personal laundry, bathing, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, skin care and hair care and any other needs addressed on the tenant service plan.
- Provides support to tenants with their ambulation, positioning and range of motion. Monitors ambulation and transfer techniques for appropriateness and safety.
- Assists with phone calls and hearing/vision adaptive devices.
- Records and reports changes in the tenant’s physical and/or cognitive/emotional status to the Building Manager and/or Executive Director of Community Living Services in a timely manner.
- Answers tenant call signals in a timely manner and provides assistance as necessary.
- Assists with safe administration of medications including the monitoring of medication supplies. Follows procedure for accurate and timely documentation for medication administration.
- Conducts room checks and performs rounds based on assigned schedule.
- Escorts tenants to activities, dining area, beauty shop, etc. on an as needed basis.
- Completes all assigned documentation accurately using approved abbreviations and descriptive terms.
