Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a team in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments, discrepancies, and other issues.

- Prepare and distribute invoices promptly and accurately.

- Perform reconciliations of accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and properly recorded.

- Follow up with customers to collect payments and allocate them appropriately.

- Review aging reports to ensure compliance with company policies and identify outstanding accounts.

- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payments.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient cash application processes.

- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions for auditing purposes.

Requirements - Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and principles.

- Experience with commercial collections and cash applications.

- Strong skills in cash collection and payment allocation.

- Familiarity with billing functions and invoice generation.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Effective communication skills for resolving customer inquiries.

- Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.

- Knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools.
