Overview
Driver I role at ISEC, Inc. Reports to Facilities Manager. FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt. Transport and unload construction materials to the job sites. Assist in moving and managing material in the warehouse.
- Unload delivery trucks at the warehouse and stage/organize material according to projects.
- Package and load materials for safe transport and efficient installation.
- Follow proper guidelines for loading and unloading of material.
- Maintain daily delivery schedule of construction materials to the job sites.
- Use forklift as needed to unload material.
- Ability to drive larger delivery trucks.
- Follow and participate in the ISEC Safety Program and adhere to the ISEC Safety Promise.
- Perform jobs in the safest manner prescribed – never put themselves in harm’s way.
- Contribute to personal safety and coworker safety, supporting a positive work environment.
- Report workplace hazards, make suggestions for their control, use Stop Work Authority and respect it on the job.
- Cooperate and contribute toward the overall success of the safety program.
- Report injuries and incidents as soon as possible.

Position RequirementsPhysical requirements include: climbing and maintaining balance on ladders and scaffolds; stooping, kneeling, crouching; using hands and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects; good vision (natural or corrected); ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must successfully pass a Medical Examination every 24 months (certain medical conditions may require more frequent evaluations).
- Must always carry a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) during operational hours.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets company standards for roles where driving is a primary responsibility.
- DOT driver position requires the ability to operate vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000 lbs or less. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required for this role.
- Drivers are responsible for maintaining full compliance with all applicable FMCSA regulations.
- Must successfully pass a road test to demonstrate safe and competent vehicle operation in accordance with DOT requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Ability to drive large trucks and trailers
- 2 years’ experience unloading material and driving delivery trucks
- Forklift Certification – ISEC, Inc. will cover the certification cost
- Solid organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with multiple team members
