Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Position:
Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr this role involves helping maintain a clean and safe facility and providing members with a positive first and last impression. The job requires standing and moving for extended periods as you perform duties around the store exterior and interior.

• Maintain safety of the Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) in accordance with Company procedures, guidelines, and methods using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
• Contribute to a positive member experience by helping create a great first and last impression.
