Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. The role includes preparing, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning seafood display cases, filling and rotating displays, and ensuring food safety compliance. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store and requires physical exertion such as lifting, bending, standing, and stooping.

• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain clean and properly stocked seafood displays.
• Assist customers and coworkers with product questions and needs.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs. as needed.
• Use a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

• Proficiency in reading and writing both Spanish and English.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and shelf tags.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions.
• Regular ability to lift 25–60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
