Job Overview

The Sales Support Associate plays an integral role in the store’s overall success and efficiency by providing friendly, efficient interactions at the cash wrap and maintaining a well‑maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work supports the flow of product from receipt through point of sale.

Responsibilities
  • Greets customers with a smile, eye contact, and offers your name.
  • Interacts genuinely and naturally with customers and reads cues to determine their needs.
  • Conducts email/name capture where permitted by law.
  • Maintains accuracy when operating the POS system and keeps the cash wrap organized and clean.
  • Suggests multiple add‑ons and sells gift cards.
  • Maintains cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy.
  • Creates a lasting impression by thanking customers sincerely and providing a reason to return.
  • Represents the Coach brand appropriately at all times.
  • Receives shipments and transfers, scans cartons, and verifies store information.
  • Communicates discrepancies to Store Management and processes shipments/transfers according to Coach standards.
  • Organizes and cleans the store daily, including any off‑site or remote warehouse.
  • Shifts and organizes product in the stockroom, reacting to sell‑through and making room for new product.
  • Manages stock levels and product ownership in the back‑of‑house and sales floor.
  • Prepares and conducts regular cycle counts as directed and participates in scheduled physical inventory counts.
  • Maintains Company Loss Prevention standards.
  • Analyzes the sales floor regularly to assess replenishment needs and replenishes assigned zones.
  • Executes visual merchandising needs and supports sales floor activities as directed.
  • Effectively communicates price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to multiple customers.
  • Responds to customer requests confidently and partners with the sales team or Store Management when needed.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards on the sales floor.
