Overview

The Federal American Grill is looking to hire Dynamic Lead Bartenders! We are looking for knowledgeable, energetic bartenders to provide the perfect guest experience in our whiskey bar. Must have high end experience. Up to 6 figures yearly gross income. Federal American Grill is a family owned and operated upscale, yet casual dining restaurant with New American Style scratch-made food, along with some traditional comfort favorites, daily fresh seafood, prime steaks, a well-rounded wine list, and Old Fashioned bar with 400+ whiskies.

• Grow business by creating regulars and maintaining relationships
• Fun, positive atmosphere for guests and team
• Verify identification and age requirements of customers – TABC certified
• Execute cocktail recipe consistency
• Cleanliness of the bar
• Open and close tabs appropriately, process payments, cash handling
• Following proper opening and/or closing duties
• Knowledgeable of whiskies and other liquors, wine, beer, etc.
• Attend meetings and continued education with liquor reps.
• Occasionally supervise shifts as a leader

• Minimum of 2 years prior quality experience as a bartender
• Thrives on being hospitable
• Knowledgeable on craft cocktails, especially Old Fashioned, all whiskies, and industry bar trends
• Food Safety Certification & TABC Certification
• Positive attitude, personality, and high service standards

Compensation Range: $2.13/hour plus tips
