Job Description

YETiSEARCH is partnering with a Katy, TX client that is relocating its headquarters and manufacturing from Europe to Katy, TX. Creating a rare opportunity to join early in the build-out of a new U.S. manufacturing team and help shape the culture and how its products are built. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components and subsystems using work instructions, drawings, and blueprints
  • Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools to complete assemblies
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and workmanship
  • Report defects or non-conformances and assist with corrective actions
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
  • Support and assist less experienced assemblers as needed
  • Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  • Follow verbal and written instructions to meet daily production goals
  • Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding work status and issues
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, parts lists, and work instructions
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform bending, standing, and movement throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation
  • Willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Industrial equipment, power generation, or oil & gas environments preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily shop-floor based with exposure to manufacturing and test areas
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift and move components up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Use of hand and power tools in an industrial environment
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required to meet production schedules
