Software Engineer-DevOps

Role Context

We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Dev Ops Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.

• Hands‑on experience with Cloud Foundry.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker.
• Understanding or hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of AWS or another cloud provider.
• Experience with event‑driven programming.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD (building pipelines would be a definite plus).

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.

• Co‑ordinating with different teams for VNET creation and connecting to DCS Hub.
• Creating respective Subnets, NSG, Routing tables, ILB ASE, App Service Plan, Web APPS & API APPS Creation.
• Creating SQL MI and migrating DB from on‑prem to Azure using backpacks concept.
• Setting‑up APIM, Storage Account, CDN, Redis Cache creation, APIM Configuration and CDN Configuration.
• Creating Key Vaults and configuring access to APPs and APIs.
• Configuring connectivity between on‑prem search and Azure Application.
• Set‑up CI/CD pipelines for deploying artifacts to Azure APIs and Web Apps of different regions.
• Automation of complete Azure configurations using ARM templates and Power Shell.
• Involved in source code scanning for security vulnerabilities.
• Participating in work estimation discussions.
• Analyzing on Server Requirements and Server Setup.
• Analyzing and fixing support tickets.
• Analyzing on requirements and delegation of tasks to team.
• Leading scrums in Agile and SAFE Agile model.
• Act as a consultative resource for our application development teams to provide technical guidance, standards, knowledge and understanding of processes, and tools to deliver Internet facing products and services.
• Define Dev Ops best practices for our application development teams and assist them in engaging these processes.
• Ownership and support of configuration management and deployment automation tools on AWS.
• Assist application teams in leveraging external and internal cloud services features such as elastic capacity auto‑scaling, elastic load balancing, right‑sizing, disaster recovery strategies, and tiered storage.
• Assist in implementation of security best practices and initiatives at all levels of the infrastructure.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling spend rate.
• Ensure maximum uptime of cloud hosted environments, including production.

Masters or Bachelors degree in Technology or Computer Science.
