Exciting Opportunity in the Katy, TX area:
Short Term Pediatric Occupational Therapist – OT

Pedia Staff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We’re currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($48.45 - $64.60/hr) in the Katy, TX area from mid October through mid-January to cover a maternity leave at a pediatric outpatient clinic in Katy.

Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Texas OT license.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
Position Details
  • OT needed starting mid-October through mid-January.
  • Katy location and a M-TH Schedule, part or full time applicants will be considered.
  • Part time applicants should be able to provide a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • HOURS needed:
    Monday and Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday and Thursday 8-5.
  • $16.15 p/unit ($64.60 for a one hour visit).
  • Because of the short term nature of this position, there are no benefits available.
  • New grads with current license and pediatric outpatient fieldwork will be considered.
  • If a different schedule is needed, we can also review and possibly accommodate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments in homes, daycares or other natural environments to determine speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in the child’s home, daycare, or other natural environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
