Under the supervision of the Clinic Director or Manager, the Physical Therapist provides various methods of Physical Therapy and supervision by physician orders. Serves as a resource person for PT Assistants and PT Aides.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services under physician orders and supervision as applicable.
- Serve as a resource for PT Assistants and PT Aides.
- Minimum Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. - Minimum Work Experience
:
Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
- Eligible for or licensed by the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited program.
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
- Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
