This position will be located in our credit office in Katy, Texas.

Education Required

High school diploma or associate’s degree.

Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of related experience in loan administration, office operations, or customer service with exposure to financial services, mortgage, title insurance industry, or equivalent experience deemed acceptable.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial systems.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to research, apply procedures, and work collaboratively.
Job Summary

An entry‑level position responsible for basic loan administration, loan accounting, content management, credit support, and other administrative work. Administers simple to moderately complex loan portfolios and provides excellent customer service as the first line of contact.

Functions
  • Greet customers, answer phones, and facilitate communication between internal departments and external parties.
  • Send loan applications to applicants, review completed applications for accuracy and completeness, and communicate with applicants on additional needs.
  • Enter pertinent loan data into loan origination systems and acquire credit bureau reports.
  • Conduct searches within various systems to review results for entity tax status and OFAC standings.
  • Draft and send communication of initial credit decision to applicants.
  • Request and develop basic knowledge of title commitment and supporting documents from title companies.
  • Submit loan file to Document Preparation Department and coordinate loan closings.
  • Onboard new loans, disburse proceeds, and monitor borrower loan conditions.
  • Assist the loan committee with necessary information to satisfy covenant and reporting requirements.
  • Implement lien perfection processes and maintain electronic loan files.
  • Process loan payments, disbursements, and related servicing tasks.
  • Use cooperative structure, patronage program, and product offerings to support operations.
  • Maintain general office administration and office equipment operations.
Required Skills

  • Computer systems and office equipment used for file management.
  • Documentation requirements for title insurance, deeds of trust, UCC financing statements, crop insurance, and flood insurance.
  • Professional, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
