Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Industrial Manufacturing Engineer for a large-scale industrial client. This position offers the chance to optimize production processes in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and medium voltage (MV) manufacturing while implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and refine systems that enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational flow, supporting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities- Analyze production processes and workflows and recommend improvements, including automation enhancements.
- Collect and analyze operational data and provide actionable recommendations using statistical analysis, process simulations, and predictive modeling.
- Design and implement integrated systems that align employees, machines, materials, and information to maximize efficiency.
- Develop strategies for effective allocation of resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to reduce costs and optimize production.
- Lead the implementation of quality control measures and establish benchmarks to ensure product standards are met.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and financial planning to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial operations.
- Lead projects focused on new systems, tools, automation, and process improvements.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and enhance system performance.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in industrial engineering.
- Proficiency in industrial engineering principles, process design, and optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical and mathematical modeling.
- Experience with engineering software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, MATLAB, ERP systems (e.g., ORACLE), and simulation tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Availability for domestic and international travel up to 10%.
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or 6S expertise.
- 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with high-volume manufacturing and automation projects.
- Familiarity with power electronics, inverters, solar power systems, and battery storage systems.
- Experience with production lines involving mechanical/electrical connections, circuit boards, and high-voltage switches.
- Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Trello, or Asana.
