A contract position is available for a Music Therapist to provide services within a school setting in Rosenberg, TX, serving the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a passion for using music therapy to support students developmental and emotional needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group music therapy sessions aligned with students' educational and therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Document session progress and maintain compliance with district and professional standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support of students.

Qualifications:

• National Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) is required.
• The district requires fingerprint clearance; candidates with existing prints in the system may qualify.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and school staff.

Location:

Rosenberg, TX (on-site position)
Contract Duration:
August 11, 2026 May 26, 2027

Hours per week and caseload to be determined based on district needs.
