Speech Pathologist
A school district in Katy, TX is seeking six skilled Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026‑2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support a diverse range of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings. The current SLP is retiring, leaving a caseload of approximately 50-60 students requiring in‑person speech therapy services.
New hires will take over these caseloads based on grade placement preferences and skills.
- Provide in‑person speech and language therapy to students ranging from 1st through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to assess and address student needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress.
- Manage caseloads effectively, aiming to maintain a manageable number of 50-60 students.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development.
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathology certification and licensure.
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels, ideally K‑12.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, evaluation, and intervention.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in both elementary and secondary educational settings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Elementary School: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Middle School: 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM
- High School: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
