• Home every night
• Teamsters Union Position
• Pay: $32/hour
• Average hours: 40-45 per week
• Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend
• Morning start, late afternoon end
• Referral bonus: $1000
• Modern fleet: under 6 years old with onboard computers, collision avoidance and GPS
• Work-life balance to spend time with family and friends

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies
• Maintain courteous professional relationships with customers
• Deliver cylinders in a timely manner
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using hand cart (labor intensive)
• Frequent vehicle exit and return

A day in the life of Airgas driver:

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years (or combination)
• No DUI or controlled substance within last 7 years
• Must work in a drug-free environment
• Regularly lift 75lbs and move >125lbs with material handling equipment
• 1 year CDL driving experience in last 5 years or recent trucking school certificate

• Hazmat driving experience
• Forklift experience

• Entry level

• Full-time

• Management and Manufacturing
• Chemical Manufacturing industry
