Overview
Location: O?ahu (various customer sites; daily start/end varies by assignment)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities- Splice fiber optic cables (loose tube and ribbon).
- Build and install splice cases including grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage, and sealing.
- Read work orders, cut sheets, engineering drawings, and follow task sequences.
- Follow BICSI and industry standards on all telecom installations.
- Interpret aerial and underground telecom facilities and provide recommendations for route changes.
- Maintain accurate inside/outside plant documentation.
- Support engineering, permitting, and construction teams as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair route issues (hand hole cleanup, signage, etc.).
- Install and connect cables to terminals, hardware, buildings, and poles.
- Participate in emergency and outage response requiring construction capabilities.
- Ensure all work is compliant with safety standards and public safety requirements.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Complete daily production reports and as-built documentation.
- Interest in learning the telecom trade (Layer 1: fiber, Cat5/Cat6). Training provided for candidates without prior experience.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs (heavy/awkward ladders, tools, equipment).
- Must pass a drug test and have a valid driver's license.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kapolei, HI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39,520.00 - $47,840.00/yr.
