We are looking for a Security Officer to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach
, set to open its doors in early 2026. Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, featuring 171 rooms, distinct food and beverage concepts, a preserved iconic walk-in pool, and a new pool on an amenity deck offering breathtaking ocean views. It will serve as the brand’s flagship location, re‑establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.
Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International, is undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic hotel.
Under the general guidance of the Assistant Director of Security, the Security Officer assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The role maintains a high‑visibility presence to prevent illegal or inappropriate actions while detecting, deterring, observing, and reporting incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees
- Patrol the inside and outside perimeter of the property, ensuring that reports are made to the Assistant Director of Security if there is a potential safety issue
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers
- Anticipate potential problems, react to disturbances, and prevent prohibited conduct
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Prepare written reports
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
- Perform first aid or CPR
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards
- Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Protect the company’s assets against theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations
- Provide lateral service as required in the hospitality industry
- Assist team members on a routine basis to perform related tasks to deliver exceptional guest service
