Job Description

We are hiring Sushi Chefs to enrich the culinary and service experience for our guests.

Sign‑On Bonus: $1,250 (paid after 90 days and completion of training).

Estimated Compensation: Hourly rate + tips; average hourly pay $25.

What You’ll Do In This Role
  • Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience.
  • Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grow.
  • Collaborate with our teams to create dishes for the specials page and core menu.
  • Prior experience in a high‑volume, guest‑facing sushi line is preferred.

Basic Qualifications
  • Effective communication with guests and employees.
  • Detect safety issues and comply with safety guidelines.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs and restock inventory.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach for extended periods.
  • Work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
  • Move quickly to respond to customer needs.
  • Work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area.
  • Handle potential allergens and food odors.
  • Maintain professional, hygienic appearance, proper uniform and grooming.
  • Understand directives and communicate with leadership.
