• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Wash and provide clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies.
• Clean and sanitize throughout shift.
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweep, mop, and remove debris from floor.
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification tasks.
• Prepare and maintain dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
• Stand and walk throughout the entire shift and reach, bend, stoop as needed.
• Immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions.
• Ensure ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. several times per shift and moving heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Work in damp, high‑temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans, sharp knives, and utensils.
• Support fellow employees as needed.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Work a five‑day week with two consecutive days off.

• Age 21 or over to enroll in 401(k) plan; must be able to lift specified loads.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and move around the kitchen safely.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• Prior food service or kitchen experience is a plus.

• Paid vacation:
  One week after Year One, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years.
• Christmas bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay).
