Oceanfront elegance within an iconic social club setting. The Surf Club has hosted history since its doors opened on New Year’s Eve 1930. Located near Sunny Isles, The Surf Club hosts a world-class spa, celebrated dining, and a new era of luxury with a beachside hotel on Miami’s Surfside shores.
What You Will Do- Master a cooking specialty (butcher, oyster, shucker, baker, charcuterie, breakfast cook) and prepare food items per guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, production, portion, and presentation standards.
- Start food items ahead of time, ensuring preparations align with estimated needs.
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill).
- Date all food containers and rotate per policies, maintain proper temperatures, check pars for shift use, and control food waste and loss.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
- High school education or equivalent culinary education.
- Minimum five years culinary experience and advanced culinary knowledge.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cooking specialty areas.
- Strong working knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety.
