The Palms Spa, an AVEDA lifestyle spa, offers holistic treatments influenced by Ayurvedic philosophy. The hotel is independently owned and operated by a European family for over 25 years and is renowned for wellness, green operations, wedding services, and healthful dining.
Provide food to guests in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork.
Responsibilities- Deliver food to guests ensuring promptness and correct temperature.
- Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish room or specified area.
- Stock bussing stations.
- Assist in Room Service when needed.
- Perform buffet set‑up.
- Refill food and beverage items as needed.
- Stock buffet stations with large, medium and small plates, cereal bowls, and soup spoons.
- Maintain food looking fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the buffet area.
- Assist guests with food if necessary.
- Be courteous to guests and co‑workers.
- Show genuine care for all colleagues and guests.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Proficient in English; a second language is an asset.
- Handle multiple tasks in an intense, ever‑changing environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Work effectively in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced setting.
- Communicate clearly with guests, co‑workers, and management.
- Move efficiently throughout the dining room.
- Lift and carry approximately 30–40 pounds repeatedly.
- Initiate and engage in professional, friendly conversation.

- Handle multiple functions simultaneously while staying organized and detail‑oriented.
- Lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull as required.
- Tolerate hot temperatures in kitchen areas.
Spend most of the time standing, walking, or occasionally lifting moderate weight (10–20 pounds). Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, and maintaining balance. Frequent use of hands and arms to carry and lift items. Close and distance vision are required.
Work EnvironmentThe hotel operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shift scheduling may change based on business volume. Employees may be exposed to dust, odors, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, noise, or light. Temperature fluctuations and moderate to high noise levels are common. Contact with noxious and abrasive chemicals is possible; proper safety procedures must be followed.
