IES is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with Hyperscale Data Center experience! This is a 100 percent travel position. The Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned project, ensuring all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with IES requirements, including safety, quality, and financial performance. All aspects of the assigned project(s) must be carried out efficiently with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care, and delivery goals.

Must have experience with building out Hyperscale Datacenters (not managing them after the build out)

• The Project Manager will recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge, if necessary, all project related staff, effectively managing all human resource issues per company policies and procedures.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
• Plan, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve company goals.
• Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections, and financial reporting.
• Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Act as the company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
• Create, develop and implement account process improvements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• High skill level interpreting blueprints and project documents.
• Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
• Ability to learn company and customer project management systems.
• Must secure and maintain a company‑sponsored American Express Card.
• Proficient with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester and 5‑gang punch tool.

• High School diploma or GED equivalency;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the company.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Meet company minimum driving standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage to completion.
