Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire’s Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach. Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus’ career.

We are looking for a Fresh Cashier to join TEAM BLEAU! Your responsibilities will include answering the telephone in an upbeat, friendly manner, accommodating guest order requests, and processing guest food bills according to established guidelines and instructions.

Examples of Duties
  • Answer the telephone and take the order/request in a timely manner.
  • Dispense the order/request to the appropriate staff using the proper procedure.
  • Compute bill and operate cash register.
  • Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts.
  • Handle credit transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy of collection and disbursement of money.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge of the basic functions of food operations. Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests.
  • Relevant experience in a high-quality, high-volume operation preferred.
