What Does a Package Delivery Driver Do?You’ll start your day at a UPS facility and then drive one of our famous, brown trucks on a pre-determined route. You will be in and out of your truck, interacting with customers and the community as you deliver packages. You may also pick up packages at the end of your shift.

Responsibilities- Drive a pre-determined route from a UPS facility and deliver packages to customers.
- Interact with customers and the community while performing daily duties.
- May pick up packages at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license. CDL not required.
- Shifts are typically 8-10 hours depending on traffic, location, and customer demand.
- Permanent role offers year-round employment in part- or full-time hourly positions; occasional additional shifts during busy periods may be available.
- In a seasonal role, there may be a set end date to your position (e.g., busy holiday season).
You’ll be provided a uniform, which includes our familiar brown shirts and pants. You’ll need to provide your own comfortable, closed-toe shoes or boots with a sturdy upper and non-slip soles.
Additional NotesPackage Delivery Drivers receive competitive pay, paid weekly. Overtime may be available in your location.
Shifts and hours can vary; early morning or late shifts may be required depending on location and demand.
