Position Details

Temporary Full Time Position
4/1/26-12/31/26
Hourly Wage: $13.51/hr
Overtime: $20.27/hr (if applicable)

Responsibilities
  • Assist production workers by performing duties requiring less skill.
  • Supply or hold materials or tools, and clean work area and equipment.
  • Work alongside diesel mechanics and assist by holding tools and parts while repairs are made to different construction equipment.
  • Clean equipment and work areas.
Work Schedules and Travel

Daily travel to various job sites located in Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rawlins, Cheyenne, Decatur, Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Norton, Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane and Ness counties in Kansas.
Hours may vary from 7 am to 7 pm, 8-hour work shift.
Some overtime and weekends required.

Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • No education required.

  • Optional employer owned housing $115.00 per week ($230.00 per pay period).

Transportation & Relocation

Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick-up location in Colby, KS. Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Colby, KS.

Additional Information

Job order is being placed in connection with future filing for H2B labor certification. Must be eligible within the USA and available for the entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence (including meals and lodging to the extent necessary).

Upon completion of the contract or dismissal earlier, the employer will pay for reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, unless the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has reported voluntary abandonment of employment. Subsidies reimburse to most economical carrier. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employment period.

Daily meals provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
