Looking for a highly motivated and skilled mechanic to upkeep our vehicles, trucks and machines. A Mechanic that can handle relatively simple tasks, like an oil change or tire rotation, while also being expected to tackle more difficult jobs. You are expected to properly maintain the tools and equipment to keep them working well. Essentially, you will be required to take care of anything that has an immediate impact on them being able to provide adequate service to vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing Routine Maintenance:
This includes tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and top-offs, tire rotations, and basic brake work (like replacing pads and rotors). - Inspecting Vehicles/Equipment:
Examine vehicles or machinery to identify potential problems, using diagnostic tools and visual inspections. - Diagnosing Issues:
Analyze mechanical and electrical systems to pinpoint the root cause of problems. - Repairing/Replacing Parts:
This involves fixing or replacing faulty components like spark plugs, sensors, wheel bearings, and other worn or damaged parts. - Explaining Repairs:
Communicate well with your employer and co-workers about the identified issues, the necessary repairs, and provide cost estimates. - Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace:
Keeping tools and work areas organized and free of hazards is crucial. Following Safety Procedures:
Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations is essential for both the mechanic's safety and the safety of others. - Maintaining Records:
Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used is also part of the job.

Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. - Problem-Solving:
The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. - Communication
Skills:
Effectively explaining technical information to employer. - Attention to Detail:
Ensuring thoroughness in inspections and repairs. - Physical Stamina:
Mechanics need to be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical effort.
