As a carpenter, you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and applying yourself to a hands‑on project. You possess a positive work attitude and are good at understanding plans with minimal assistance, taking pride in the important role you play in building projects and positively impacting communities.

• Work on commercial, industrial, residential, and multi‑level structures.
• Perform carpentry work, involving cutting, shaping, leveling, and fastening building materials.
• Anticipate and report shortages of formwork and other materials.
• Use carpentry tools, instruments to shoot grades and lines, hand and power tools, measuring and marking equipment.
• Review blueprints, shop drawings, and project plans detailing dimensions and material usage.
• Construct and install temporary support structures such as scaffolding, forms for concrete foundations, and pre‑engineered structural systems.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are clean, in safe working order, and properly maintained; report job‑site hazards and defects in tools and equipment.

• Previous related experience.
• Ability to recognize and erect different types of formwork with a working understanding of the processes for placing concrete in formwork.
• Appropriate hand tools.

• CDL and medical card to operate and transport tools and equipment to project sites.
