Location: 31220 West 187th Street Edgerton, Kansas 66021

Starting Pay: $22.00 - $32.00/hour (Apprentice to Journeyman)

Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday - open availability required (in the event overtime/weekend work is needed)

The
Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing refrigerated shipping containers. This role involves troubleshooting and performing maintenance on Carrier Gensets, ensuring that equipment is in optimal working condition to meet shipping and transportation needs.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with
  refrigerated shipping containers
  and
  Gensets
  .
• Perform necessary repairs on refrigeration units.
• Conduct
  pre-trip inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all repair and diagnostic activities.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.

• Strong communicator; communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Conforms with and abides by all work regulations, policies, procedures, safety rules and instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
  • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standard for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
