Description
Idea Tek is looking for a Business Sales Representative (Inbound Focus) to convert inbound leads into long-term business customers. You'll be the first voice many clients hear—responding to inquiries, qualifying needs, and showcasing the value of our broadband services. Location: This role is a hybrid position based in Hutchinson, Buhler, or Wichita, KS.
A Day in the LifeYou’ll start your day reviewing new inbound leads—whether they came through our e-commerce platform or over the phone. You’ll reach out quickly, establish rapport, and uncover what the business really needs. From there, you’ll walk them through available solutions, address any concerns, and help them confidently choose Idea Tek. Throughout the day, you’ll track progress in our CRM, follow up with potential clients, and share feedback with the team to help improve our inbound experience.
WhatYou’ll Do
Inbound Lead Conversion & Customer Relationship Building
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound business inquiries (phone, e-commerce, digital channels)
- Build trust and rapport with potential clients while identifying their business needs
- Communicate Idea Tek’s services and value clearly and confidently
- Recommend tailored broadband solutions and guide leads through the sales process
- Follow up consistently to drive conversions and maintain positive relationships
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Idea Tek’s services and offerings
Sales Process & CRM Management
- Track and manage all lead activity using our CRM system
- Keep records accurate and up to date throughout the sales process
- Monitor conversion rates and identify areas for improvement
- Follow best practices to optimize inbound sales workflows
Team Collaboration & Feedback
- Share insights to improve inbound strategy and lead generation effectiveness
- Stay current on product updates, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
What Will Help You Stand Out
- 5+ years in an inbound sales role, ideally in telecommunications or a similar industry
- Experience converting leads in a high-volume, inbound environment
- Familiarity with modern CRMs and digital sales tools
- A proven track record of exceeding sales or conversion goals
- Understanding of common business pain points and how broadband solutions address them
