The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory. They build and maintain customer relations through communication and in-person appointments. The role requires expert knowledge of our product portfolio and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships; develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, changes, and educational programs.
  • Implement sales and marketing plans to position the organization competitively.
  • Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions.
  • Address any issues at customer accounts.
  • Support compliance by maintaining confidentiality, protecting assets, acting ethically, and adhering to laws and policies.
  • Receive coaching and training from the sales manager; share knowledge with peers.
  • Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
  • Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
  • Participate in sales and professional meetings outside regular hours, as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Requirements
    • Minimum 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
    • Comfortable in open operating room environments.
    • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
    • Ability to learn technical information, anatomy, and surgical indications.
    • Prior sales experience is a plus.
    Skills and Training
    • MS Office proficiency.
    • Ability to create effective business plans (30/60/90 days).
    • Strong public speaking and communication skills.
    • Sense of urgency; ability to work under pressure.
    • Self-confidence and competitive drive.
    • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility.
    • Compliance with all policies and regulations.
    Tools and Equipment
    • Current driver’s license and access to transportation.
