JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Therapy Services in Hershey, PA is hiring for a Part‑time Research Support position.
Job duties to include:
- The research support person will support the Kamal lab with several scientific projects focusing on the study of chondrocytes in musculoskeletal development and disease.
- The research support person will carry out specific experiments needed for each study.
- The research support person will work directly with Dr. Kamal under her supervision and guidance.
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- Research support position requires candidate to have prior lab experience.
- Research support position requires candidate to have prior mice handling experience.
- Candidate should be knowledgeable and comfortable with a lab setting, equipment, regulations, and be able to work with a team.
Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
