- $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of permanent address.
- Mileage reimbursement provided.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and performs testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident’s status and to provide the care needed. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents.
Contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed, documents resident interactions, and assists in emergent situations. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with resident, health care providers, and the public. Acts as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages under supervision.
- Assesses residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals and assists in emergent situations.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team and maintains effective working relationships.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Current unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board; multi-state licensure privileges preferred.
- Minimum 400 hours of LPN experience or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.
- Completes required CEU and competency training; maintains department specific competencies.
- Must have attended pre-licensure program including supervised clinical experience across life span or provide at least 400 hours of experience.
- IV therapy requirements for positions that require IV therapy (North Dakota only).
