As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community. You provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You perform care as defined by the resident’s plan of care or CNA assignment card, visit with residents, and reposition as required.
You record vital signs, conduct range of motion, and observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, or behavior. You maintain confidentiality, follow HIPAA requirements, and uphold facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.
