RN - Day Shift

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at our Lone Tree location in Meade, KS provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards of practice, physician orders, and facility policies. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, coordinating care, and ensuring a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic environment during the day shift.

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to ensure high-quality care
• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes or concerns
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, or other nursing staff as assigned
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings as required

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• Previous experience in a clinical, long‑term care, or acute care setting (depending on facility type)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift patients or equipment as needed
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
