Location: Valley Falls
Overview
Valley Mental Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
Schedule2 days on the floor (12-hour shifts) and 1 day in the office (8-hour shift) per week. On-call weekends once a month.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physicians, patients, families, and other staff involved in patient care.
- Communicate with patients and families regarding education and progress of the patient.
- Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress.
- Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance with all Kansas and Federal requirements, including blood-borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.
- Work under the general supervision of the Community Director of Nursing.
