• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or approved RN/LPN program with current licensure in the state of practice.
• Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work with and supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Complete all RN/LPN required record‑keeping forms and charts upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; assist with transportation and packing.
• Administer professional services (catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressings, colostomy bags, specimen collection, care of dying/deceased residents) as per facility policies.
• Supervise nursing staff and assist with staff assignment.
• Work with consultants, implement recommended changes, investigate complaints and grievances, and report to RN supervisor or director of nurses.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
• Check all residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment and evaluate physical and emotional status.
• Keep RN supervisor informed about resident status, staff, and related matters.

• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech.
• Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
